About me

fix it shoot 4.jpg

Aspiring Singer/Songwriter from West London.
Daughter of a dancer and a touring bass player, I inevitably developed a passion for the arts.

My father was mentored by the late Coleridge Goode and was known for playing bass for well-respected artist Geno Washington.

With such an upbringing it’s no surprise that what started out as a primary school dream has now come full circle.  I knew I didn’t sound like any of my friends but I was determined to show off my gift.

“As a child, I would put on my mum’s high heels and sing to my teddy bears as a rehearsal for the next time my friends came over. I dreamt of performing in front of a live audience, I also used to sing in church regularly”

Witnessing my longing to perform my father started with the fundamentals of the craft. He asked his daughter if she was ready. Inspired by his work ethic, Jas was eager to take on her father's challenge. She was encouraged to study and enrolled on The Music Practice course at Westminster Kingsway College where she met Alex Hromcovs. In their spare time, the pair began to make music. A & R at EMI like their sound; Jas was asked to write for ‘Tamta’ (a Greek artist signed to EMI).  Jas then went on to achieve Synchronization library deals with the likes of Warner Chappell and BMG and her music has been featured on Channel 4, Channel 5, 5Star, Home and Away in the UK and is being played around the world.

Today, rooted in Dance, Pop and R&B, Jas’ unique sound has listeners paused in their tracks. Currently making her rounds on the London live music circuit, Jas is ready. Her passionate swirl of soul-evoking vocals coupled with a commercial-sounding undercurrent will have more than your toe-tapping.

Jas ... you heard her hear first…
